Blimey!

Morning :)

Just had an email from the Photosoc President. Back in January I submitted 5 pictures for a competition run by the History Dept. at Reading University. The brief was that they wanted a series of photos showing the history of Reading, to be displayed on the website, and other publications in the department, with full credit given. 12 of the best photos submitted would be displayed in an exhibition, with first prize being awarded £100 and the largest print in the exhibition.

Last night I had an email to tell me that three (!!) of my photos have been picked for the final 12!! There's an official opening ceremony on May 12th, that I have to attend with the speeches starting at 1pm! Nervewracking! It means I'll have to convince work to let me escape for a few hours, with a promise of coming back!
